Have you thought about joining us for one of our upcoming short-term missions? We promise, if you decide to come along with us on one of our future trips not only will you make a difference in the lives of others, you too will be changed and blessed forever.

What to expect

When you participate as a ministry team member expect to have a wonderful time meeting Christians from other churches, spiritual growth, and to be touched forever as you witness the power of the Lord as thousands of lives are transformed and souls are saved.

Each of our festivals includes humanitarian aid and opportunities to share compassion and the love of Jesus with people in the communities. Team members participate in ministry by distributing eye glasses, playing games with children in orphanages and schools, and visiting the ill in hospitals among other daytime ministries. You may also have an opportunity to speak and share your personal testimony. During the evenings of our all age festivals team members minister to new believers as they come forward for prayer and healing.

Below are some words from team members after they have participated in one of our ministries.

Doug Dennee said, “This has been one of the most exciting journeys of my life. I went to Iquitos thinking that I was going to minister to the people of Iquitos, and yet they have ministered to me so wonderfully as we have had the opportunity to see their incredible love for Jesus in the midst of poverty, and a very difficult environment where demons and idolatry are present. I cannot express the joy that I have had in working with the churches in Iquitos. I am certainly looking forward to my next opportunity to go and minister in the name of Jesus. I encourage everybody reading this, if you have never done this, you need to do this to discover for your life the meaning of new testament Christianity.”

Steve Hannah said, “My life was changed and blessed during our ministry in Peru. I tell my friends that it was probably the most spiritually intense week of my life, but every minute was uplifting and special. God works powerfully through EMM and all the people that make it such a Godly ministry.”

Wendi Lee said, “Our trip to Peru was amazing! What a blessing to serve alongside my husband and see God stretch us and use us. Even when we felt we had so little to offer, God multiplied our efforts for his glory. Thanks to EMM for believing in us when we didn't even believe in ourselves. We are forever changed after this trip and are now ready to go again!”

Josh Lee said “Awesome trip. The festivals were amazing. Seeing new believers join the celebration each night was great. We will never forget dancing hand in hand with the Peruvians, celebrating God's faithfulness. Can't say enough about EMM or what the ministry is about. We hope to join EMM on another trip in the near future.”
