A Personal Note From Dan
Dear Friends,

Dave Luebkeman was impressed with how well resources
were managed by EMM.
|
I am reminded of the wisdom of Proverbs 22:1 -
“A good name is more desirable than great riches”.
The Lord has blessed Eternity Minded Ministries with a good name
around the world. That good reputation continues to open doors
for significant ministry for us.
Dave Luebkeman is the CFO of Brookfield Homes in the Bay Area.
He and his son, Brody, ministered in Burundi, Africa with us a
few years ago. This time Dave brought his good friend, Carl
Sekera, to Rwanda knowing both of their lives would be impacted.
On our return from Rwanda, Dave sent me a note that demonstrated
how important a ‘good name’ is:
“Watching Dan and his leadership team work with the Rwandan
team, I was impressed with how well resources were managed by
EMM. They worked closely with the Rwandans, ensuring money was
well spent and the Rwandans were well aware they were being held
accountable for the resources given to them by EMM. It's
nice to see donations to EMM being used so wisely. EMM is
definitely an excellent steward of the blessings God has
entrusted to them.”
As we look towards 2010 we are eager to return to Peru. The
pastors from the city of Tarapoto have invited us there for a
long-term ministry much like we did in Iquitos, Peru from
2007-2009. We will begin laying the groundwork with the pastors
of that beautiful city in early January and the Festival will
take place in late spring.
The work that we do costs money, but the results are well worth
it. Thank you for your faithful support. I pray that you will
give generously towards our continued work in Rwanda and Peru in
2010. Your gifts and prayers are never taken for granted and
they are always appreciated.
With Eternity in Mind,
Dan Owens
