Gary Losey, EMM Festival Director,
shared his thoughts with the team in London regarding
the week ahead.

As we turned the corner and neared the Festival grounds on the
first night of the Festival, I couldn’t believe what my eyes
were seeing - thousands of people gathered. It was an incredible
sight as we looked over a sea of people. Each night the crowd
grew even larger, reaching an estimated 12,000 people on the
final night.
Pastor after pastor mentioned that Dan’s messages were anointed
of God; and God used the preaching of the Word to penetrate the
hearts of people. Hundreds of people streamed to the front of
the platform each night as the invitation was given. You could
see that God was working mightily in the hearts of people as
tears streamed down some of their faces. The number of
counselors on hand was woefully short compared to the number of
people who responded to the invitation. The pastors reported
that not only were there hundreds who indicated that they had
received Jesus as their Savior, but there were hundreds of
believers who re-dedicated their lives to Him as they were
challenged to truly live for God and not themselves.
Here are some of the comments that I heard from the local
pastors:
“Historical in the city.”
“Biggest they’ve ever seen in Rwamagana.”
“Have never had this kind of response like this one.”
“People don’t want meetings to end.”
“Humanitarian aid left a huge impact; helped spread the word
about the festival.”
The Festival meetings far exceeded the local pastors’
expectations, as well as mine. Some words that might describe
the meetings would be awesome, powerful, incredible, fantastic,
amazing, and life changing. Praise be to the Lord!
