HARVESTING IN
RWAMAGANA Mission Redemption November
15-23, 2009
Very soon we will be traveling to Rwamagana, Rwanda, Africa on a
mission of redemption. The people in Rwamagana have witnessed
unbelievable acts of brutality and hatred during recent events.
It has only been fifteen years since nearly a million people
were shot or hacked to death during a tribal genocide. The scars
of that horrible period are still painfully fresh for many. The
people who were attacked or lost loved ones, as well as those
who participated in the attacks, desperately need our help.
Our work in Rwamagana began in December of
2008 as a ministry team traveled there on a mission of bringing
reconciliation and renewal to the churches; however the mission
ended up being much more than we had anticipated. As a result
local pastors were encouraged and trained in ways to share the
Gospel within their communities, sinners received forgiveness,
two-thousand people were provided with health insurance,
thirty-five hundred people were given new eyeglasses, and
thousands of brothers and sisters have a new hope in Jesus
Christ.

Souls were harvested during our mission of
reconciliation last year - and new seeds of hope were sown.
We are returning to Rwamagana in November
to reap the harvest in Rwamagana during our Mission Redemption.
We need your help!
Please partner with us for Mission
Redemption in providing HELP (Humanitarian, Evangelism,
Leadership and Planting of churches) to Rwamagana.
The mayor of Rwamagana,
Mayor Valens, asked us if we could help by providing families
with a goat. This gift will provide long-term help by providing
fertilizer for the land, milk, and when the goat reproduces baby
goats can be sold for money. The cost to give one goat to a
family is only $40.
Praise the Lord we have
already raised enough funds to provide for 5,000 pairs of
eyeglasses and copies of the Going Forward
With Jesus Christ books to give those making decisions
for Christ. However, we still need funding to cover the costs
of the evening festivals in Rwamagana.
Please consider what
you can do to help us bring humanitarian aid and the Gospel
message to Rwamagana and reap the harvest of souls that God has
prepared for His Kingdom.
You can also donate by mailing a check to
Eternity Minded Ministries, P.O. Box 2460, Paso Robles,
California 93447. Please make a note how you would like your
gift to be designated. Your gift can go towards providing goats
to families or towards evangelism.
Thank you for your help!
With eternity in mind,
Dan Owens

point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap
sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap
bountifully." 2 Corinthians 9:6
